At GTC 2025, APMIC, a notable player in the enterprise AI landscape, unveiled its much-anticipated private AI solution, “PrivAI.” This marks APMIC’s second participation in GTC, reinforcing its commitment to advancing enterprise AI technologies. PrivAI is designed to provide businesses with secure, easy-to-deploy AI capabilities, positioning APMIC as a pioneer in the field.

In an exciting collaboration, APMIC joined forces with Ubilink, Taiwan’s largest computing hub established by the Chengwei Group, and innovative startup Glows.ai. This partnership introduced a novel AI software rental model aimed at democratizing access to cutting-edge AI solutions. Enterprises can now harness the power of this model to enhance everything from basic text search functionalities to advanced deep (RAG) multimodal inference, optimizing their AI deployments at a fraction of the traditional cost.

According to a recent survey by Menlo Ventures, 47% of businesses are shifting toward edge AI, a trend APMIC recognized long ago. Since 2017, the company has been actively investing in enterprise edge AI research and joined the NVIDIA Inception startup program in 2023. This proactive approach has positioned APMIC as a key player among Taiwanese startups at GTC 2025, ready to showcase its innovative solutions.

During the event, APMIC highlighted two principal offerings: PrivAI and CaiGunn. While PrivAI focuses on providing a secure, on-premises AI deployment for larger enterprises, CaiGunn serves as a comprehensive AI chatbot development platform. Both products facilitate an easier transition to AI for businesses of all sizes, allowing them to enhance customer service, streamline knowledge management, and boost operational efficiencies.

APMIC unveiled “PrivAI,” emphasizing its commitment to enterprise security in AI deployments.

APMIC’s CEO Wu Bohan expressed pride in representing Taiwan’s software innovation on an international stage. He emphasized the importance of empowering enterprises to develop their own AI capabilities, particularly with technologies like PrivAI, built on NVIDIA’s NeMo end-to-end platform. This enables industries with stringent privacy needs—such as finance, defense, and healthcare—to maintain full control over their AI systems.

In its mission to lower the barriers to AI adoption, APMIC, alongside Ubilink and Glows.ai, introduced three distinct cloud-based rental solutions: “PrivAI Basic RAG,” “PrivAI R1-Distill (70B),” and “PrivAI R1.” These solutions are crafted to support a wide range of AI applications, from enhanced text searches to advanced multimodal processes. The novel rental model allows businesses to access APMIC’s software simply by leasing Ubilink’s NVIDIA H100 servers or GPU capabilities from Glows.ai, significantly reducing initial investment costs.

The advantages of these offerings are substantial. Businesses utilizing the AI software rental model can implement features such as data preprocessing and fine-tuning for advanced applications. With pricing starting at under $100 per hour for the use of four H4 GPUs, APMIC is setting itself up as a cost-effective alternative in the burgeoning AI market.

APMIC’s partnership with Ubilink extends beyond just service provision; it aims to co-develop numerous AI applications tailored for various industries. This collaboration combines the hardware prowess of the Chengwei Group with APMIC’s sophisticated software capabilities, fostering an environment ripe for innovation. Together, they are developing enterprise-specific AI models, robotic language models, and video recognition systems.
